Omicron Scientific Equipment Co. has set up its own R&D lab to gem quality grow diamond .MPECVD systems have been designed, developed and fabricated for growing single crystalline diamond .Company has applied two patents and  set up an industry in collaboration with diamond persons from Surat Gujarat at Surat.

 A growth rate 15-20 micron /hr of gem quality diamond has been achieved.

For the growth of Gem quality diamond one needs diamond seeds which are normally imported The basic aim of ore enterprise is also to prepare these seeds for the growth of diamonds. In this direction more than 80% our own diamond produced seeds are being used for the growth of gem quality diamond Again, at present more than 75% our own designed and developed components are being used the fabrication of MPCVD systems.
